Bio

Diana Agaba is a cybersecurity professional with + 10 years of experience in the developing, implementing, monitoring and support cybersecurity programs in large organizations. She holds a MSc. in Management and Information Systems (University of Manchester UK), is a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a Certified Data Protection Officer (CDPO). Diana is a member of various information security professional bodies that include ISC2 that she represents here today, ISACA and PECB. She is also a board member of Women in cyber security (WiCyS) East Africa affiliate, part of WiCyS global whose mission is to recruit, retain and advance women in cybersecurity. Diana is Currently working as a Manager IT Security, Standards and architecture where is key in driving and implementing the Bank’s overall cyber strategy. Her purpose and passion as a cyber security professional is in knowing that whatever she does, goes along way to improve the security posture of the organization one control at a time.
